Job Summary:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate CT and other imaging equipment to capture high-resolution images adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assess patients conditions and prepare them for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal functioning.
  
  
• 
  Transfer completed images securely via PACS and teleradiology systems for radiologist review.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information, procedure details, and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Provide exceptional patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring a comfortable imaging experience.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  
  
• 
  Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with current ARRT-CT certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess an advanced certification in CT modality, required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California.
  
  
• 
  Hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Have at least two years of recent imaging experience in a clinical setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain state-specific licensure and additional certifications such as fluoroscopy license and venipuncture certification as applicable.
