POSITION SUMMARY The Custom Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing the custom manufacturing team with the materials, prints, and information required to complete jobs accurately and on schedule. This role requires a high performing, flexible, and creative team member who is comfortable working with less structure and adapting to changing priorities. Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. VALUES Innovation Commitment & Passion Integrity Team & Relationships DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Read blueprints and labels, then organize parts by job and priority so the custom build team can start work. Locate and pull stock parts using the production information system. Stage and sequence parts and jobs by weld priority to keep custom jobs flowing. Visually check outgoing parts for quality before they move to the next process. Complete material discrepancy reports and route parts for rework to the right area when needed. Track late jobs and request arrival dates for purchased parts. Escalate part issues to internal suppliers and request support for system problems. Update delivery metrics and communicate area status to other teams. Load and unload trailers and stage outgoing product for the next process. ATTRIBUTES Manage multiple tasks without losing sight of objectives Independent, dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated QUALIFICATIONS Able to read blueprints and labels to match parts to the job. Prior parts-handling, material-handling, or custom-operations experience. Basic computer knowledge for stock lookups and tracking. Strong organization skills and the ability to juggle several jobs at once. Familiarity with a production information system for stock and order tracking. Familiarity with lean tools - 5S, one-piece flow, and QCDSM boards. Flexible with changing priorities and schedules. Manual dexterity; able to handle and move parts all shift.

The target hourly range is $22.00 - $27.00, depending upon qualifications and experience.

The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
