Overview We are looking for a District Shift Leader who will support multiple bakeries, learn the General Manager development plan, and ultimately be positioned for a General Manager role. The role requires early starts as early as 3am, a willingness to travel within the market, and the ability to lead by example in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Lead store opening, closing, and daily operations, ensuring high‑quality food, beverages, and a clean, safe environment. Train and coach team members, facilitating their growth and development. Track inventory, place vendor orders, and manage cash. Analyze P&L, achieve food cost and labor targets, schedule staff, and recruit quality team members. Fill in for General Managers at other locations and step into the GM role when a position is available. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work varied hours/days, including early mornings and weekends. Valid driver’s license and successful background check. Must complete the Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan (if not already certified). Willingness to travel within the market. Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits Medical, vision, and dental insurance. Paid time off and no work past 3pm.
