What You'll Do

• Provide expert bedside care to telemetry and med-surg patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, perform EKGs, and manage cardiac drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient data accurately in Epic EHR system.
• Respond efficiently during emergency and code events.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
• Support unit operations through flexible staffing, including float and call coverage.

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain
• BLS and NIH certifications (current)
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry or med-surg nursing experience
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, EKG, and medication management

• ACLS certification
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Experience working with cardiac drips
