Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Conroe, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a position in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess experience in transition, postpartum, and newborn care, and will demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for laboring patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Support and educate newly delivered mothers and their newborns.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through monitoring and assessment.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have transition, postpartum, and newborn experience.
- Preferred experience in charge nursing.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
