Position Overview\n

As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. You will work alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Radiologic Technologists to deliver efficient, compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urgent care conditions
\n
• Perform thorough histories and physical examinations
\n
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
\n
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
\n
• Perform common urgent care procedures
\n
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR
\n
• Review diagnostic results and provide follow-up care as needed
\n
• Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and clinical quality
\n
• Collaborate with center leadership and clinical staff to support operational excellence
\n
• Participate in provider onboarding, training, and clinical development initiatives
\n
• Serve as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with state regulations and company policies
\n
• Conduct periodic chart reviews and provider mentoring to support quality improvement and clinical consistency
\n
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care
\n

QualificationsRequired\n

\n
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\n
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
\n
• Current FL DEA registration
\n
• Current BLS certification
\n
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
\n
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
\n
• Experience working within an EMR environment
\n

Preferred\n

\n
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care
\n
• Prior Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Outpatient Clinic experience
\n
• National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) certification or willingness to obtain
\n
