Overview
Registered Nurse - ER in Utica, New York. Start date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,357 per week to $2,491 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: Days. Work setting: hospital-based Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients across age groups (neonates to geriatrics) per physician orders and established protocols
- Perform triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, documentation, and reassessment of patient status
- Administer medications, therapies, and procedures as appropriate; respond to emergencies and rapidly changing conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams; coordinate care, prepare patients for procedures, and support discharge planning
- Document all care in the electronic medical record (EPIC); ensure accurate coding, charting, and communication during transitions of care

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York; Nursys license verification required
- All RN licenses verification; address and demographics must align; RTO (time-off) must be included at time of submission
- Certifications: current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC required to be in hand
- Experience: minimum 2+ years in an Emergency Department; pediatric exposure preferred; travel experience required
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Education: RN (degree from an accredited nursing program)
- Ability to work in an ED setting with floating to other units as needed; driver’s license with address matching demographics
