Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance activities, and functional mobility
• Follow individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Promote resident safety, independence, and participation throughout treatment
• Educate residents and caregivers on appropriate exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies

Qualifications:

• Current PTA license in the applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
