Assistant Principal Location TBD - Sylva, North Carolina Job Details Job ID: 5713160 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: Yesterday Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Administrator- Assistant Principal TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time; Exempt Position; 10-month; Dependent on budget and program needs, this position is eligible for extended summer employment; (2 positions available) LOCATION: To Be Determined SALARY: Salary placement will be determined by the NC State Salary Schedule based on license and experience. QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold valid/current NC School Administrator License - 0012; have knowledge of NC Standard Course of Study. CDL and School Bus Certification required (or willing to obtain immediately). DUTIES: Administrative duties as per laws of NC and policies of Jackson County Board of Education; will serve as the Testing Coordinator and LEA Representative for the school; will assist with discipline; may assist with buses, textbooks, athletics, and other duties as needed to meet the success of the overall school program. Experience with test administration strongly preferred. Additional duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.
