CDL Driver

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Must have experience driving trucks, passenger buses and dumb trucks.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values
• Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards, while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
• To work well with supervision.
• A CDL bus driver's main duty is to safely transport passengers using a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Following strict safety regulations
• Maintaining the vehicle and equipment in good conditions and clean.
• Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, obeying traffic laws, assisting passengers, adhering to schedules, keeping the bus clean, and communicating effectively with passengers and dispatchers.
• Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.

PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces.
• Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in Confined Spaces.
• Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers.
• Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 100 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.
• Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties. Work normally requires eye-hand coordination.
• Travel and overtime may be required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving on roads, and plants. Must be able to pass equipment/trucks/buses test and visual observation of operating equipment. Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, and Client/Site specific training. Obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program. Must pass a Background.
