Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current or pending ABESPA AL SLP Certification, and/or AL SLP DOE Certification (may start with one, pending the other)
• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC-SLP
• Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 3–6
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
