Job Description

Key responsibilities may include:

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing transparency in logistics operations.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfillment, maintaining efficient inventory and stock levels.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely logistics operations.
• Implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations, reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all data related to logistics and inventory management is accurately recorded in the system, supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting.
• Contribute to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights, supporting performance analysis and the achievement of KPIs.
• Act as the liaison between plant management and logistics teams, promoting effective communication and ensuring alignment on production and logistics priorities.

Role environment is 80% office based and 20% production floor/yard. Communicating via email, radio and with drivers. Role is responsible for all shipping and receiving activity during shift.
