Transport Technician (Driver) Substance Recovery Unit Mon Valley Hospital

Summary: Transport Technician is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation support for new patient admissions and discharges from the Substance Recovery Unit. This includes assisting in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for clients in transit and throughout the unit.
Education: Associate degree in human services area or higher preferred, High school diploma or General Education Development Equivalent.
Required Experience/Skills: 1 year clinical experience in health or human service agency, preferably drug and alcohol treatment setting, 1 year or more driving passengers with medical complexities and/or substance use disorders, Clean driving record with the DMV, Proof of valid driver's license in Pa, 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Certified Recovery Specialist preferred (CRS).
