What Youll Do

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues

• Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components

• Determine the most effective repair or service solution

• Complete heating and air conditioning repairs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards

• Test systems to confirm proper operation and performance

• Explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers

• Provide honest, professional service while building customer trust

• Identify opportunities for system improvements, replacements, or energy-efficient solutions when appropriate

• Complete accurate job notes, including findings, parts used, and work performed

• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, tools, and jobsite

• Respond promptly to scheduled service calls and manage time effectively

• Follow all safety procedures, applicable codes, and manufacturer specifications

• Work collaboratively with teammates and support the companys service standards

• Treat customers, coworkers, and company property with care and respect

What Youll Bring

• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems

• Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and determine the appropriate repair solution

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical information

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Professional appearance and respect for customers homes and businesses

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team

• A safety-first mindset and attention to detail

• Physical ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions

• Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills

Qualifications

• 2-3 years HVAC service and repair experience required

• EPA certification

• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

• Applicable HVAC licenses or certifications required by Alabama regulations

• Experience with residential and commercial HVAC equipment is a plus

• Generator, plumbing, or indoor air quality experience is a plus

• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
