Overview Traditional Internal Medicine Physician position at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Build your outpatient panel, round on your own patients in the hospital, and provide continuity of care from clinic to inpatient settings. Responsibilities Manage medical care of the patient panel, arranging or providing inpatient care through rounds or collaborating with hospitalists as required by BJC Medical Staff bylaws. Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes at assigned clinic locations and other BJC clinical outreach sites. Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required. Arrange for call coverage for clinic and inpatient patients in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with bylaws, while following all BJC policies and applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards. Collaborate with and train advanced practice providers, support staff, and other care team members assigned to the physician’s patient panel. Maintain constant alertness and perform safely; this is a safety‑sensitive position. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine. Active practice experience in Internal Medicine. Active or eligible Missouri medical license and DEA licensure. Strong commitment to longitudinal patient relationships and continuity of care.
