Mechanical Engineer I

We're partnering with a manufacturing company, to find a Mechanical Engineer I to support their engineering team. This on-site role is located in Rancho Cordova, CA. It focuses on designing and drafting mechanical systems for industrial tools and machinery, offering an entry-level opportunity for growth. Mechanical Engineer I Responsibilities Develop mechanical designs, create detailed drawings, and perform tolerance analysis following industry standards using CAD software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and innovate product solutions. Design mechanical components, fixtures, and assemblies for manufacturing and testing. Specify materials, analyze structural integrity, and account for manufacturing costs in project scope. Manage component data, revision control, and bills of materials within the company's ERP system. Mechanical Engineer I Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering from an accredited institution. At least one year of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or related tasks. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools. Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methods.
