Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our client. This job is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining the accurate flow of materials and products within manufacturing and stockroom operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy through proper transactions, material handling, and system updates while supporting production needs in a fast-paced environment.

Thursday-Sunday - CVG 100 and CVG 300

• 403 - 6am-6pm
• 404 – 6pm-6am

Sunday-Tuesday/Wednesday - CVG 200

• 401 Shift A - 6am-6pm
• 402 Shift B – 6pm-6am

Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday - CVG 200

• 403 Shift C - 6am-6pm
• 404 Shift D – 6pm-6am

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Manage all material movement to stock, including dock-to-stock processing, material requisition orders (MRO), printed circuit boards (PCB), floor returns, and related system transactions using RF scanners and/or computer systems
• Issue materials from stock including transfers, kits, manual pulls, and highly marketable parts (HMP), ensuring accuracy in all transactions
• Perform and verify inventory transactions to maintain accurate system and physical inventory records
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe stockroom and/or production areas
• Follow all company safety, health, and security policies and procedures at all times
• Comply with all operational guidelines and standard work instructions
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and material flow

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
• RF scanner experience required for higher-level roles (or as applicable)
• SAP or similar ERP system experience preferred for advanced-level roles
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Basic computer skills, including Windows-based systems and related applications
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Ability to solve routine problems and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Work is performed in a stockroom and/or manufacturing floor environment
• Moderate noise levels typical of production settings
• May involve exposure to moving equipment and material handling activities
