General Manager - Diesel Repair Shop

We're now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, drive performance, and grow our reputation for quality and reliability.

As our General Manager , you will oversee the entire shop operation - from workflow efficiency and team management to customer satisfaction and financial performance. You'll be the go-to leader on the ground, ensuring that repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage day-to-day shop operations
• Supervise, coach, and support technicians and front-office staff
• Oversee repair workflow, parts inventory, and scheduling
• Drive customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues
• Track KPIs and implement performance improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Manage P&L, budgeting, and cost control
• Collaborate with ownership to develop strategic goals

What you Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in diesel repair or heavy truck service
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel systems and diagnostics
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with shop management software a plus
• ASE certifications or diesel tech background a bonus
