Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,926–$3,092 per week Start date: 10/05/2026 Contract: Travel – Temporary Assignment, duration of weeks Shift: 4x12-hour shifts (nights) with potential variations Setting: Combined adult and pediatric ED with trauma cases; Level III Trauma Center; Primary Stroke Center Location: Potsdam, NY; relocation required (locals not accepted; >50 miles) Responsibilities Provide triage, assessment, and stabilization for adult and pediatric ED patients Interpret dysrhythmias; deliver ACLS-level care and rapid intervention for emergencies Manage airway, ventilation, IV access, central line care, and blood product administration Administer IV sedatives and vasopressors as clinically indicated; monitor hemodynamics Deliver stroke care and participate in multisystem trauma management (neuro/ortho, TBI, spinal injuries) Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and rapid-response teams; utilize EPIC for documentation Requirements Active NY RN license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; trauma center experience preferred; 1 year in one spot may be considered for alignment per notes Specialty skills: ED triage and management of adult/pediatric patients; dysrhythmia interpretation; airway/ventilator management; central line and blood product administration; IV starts/maintenance; continuous IV sedation; vasopressor support EPIC charting experience; Pyxis medication system; ability to float to cover unit needs Pre-approved time off: one request; residency distance: locals not accepted (must reside >50 miles from assignment location) Education: RN degree from an accredited program (education details to be verified) Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Orientation and onboarding support; unit orientation is provided (24 hours) 24/7 access to travel-specific support and credentialing assistance EPIC experience and workflow support to ensure smooth integration PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
