Job Title: Avionics Technician If qualified and interested: Text Duke to book a meeting- View phone number on click.appcast.io Job Description The Avionics Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and inspecting aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer data, and company-approved maintenance manuals. Working on the hangar floor and during both scheduled and unscheduled AOG maintenance events, this role ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and dispatch readiness. The Avionics Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of navigation, communication, autopilot, flight guidance, and cabin systems across the fleet. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft electrical and avionics systems in compliance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance manuals. Perform detailed inspections of avionics and electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness. Maintain and support navigation, communication, autopilot, flight guidance, and cabin systems across the aircraft fleet. Execute avionics installation tasks, including wiring, harness work, and system integration on applicable aircraft types. Diagnose and resolve avionics issues on Learjet aircraft, including Lear 60, Lear 55, and Lear 35 models. Support AOG (aircraft on ground) events by traveling to designated locations to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Use manufacturer data, technical documentation, and company-approved procedures to guide all maintenance activities. Work on the hangar floor and at remote locations to complete avionics troubleshooting and repairs within required timeframes. Ensure all work is documented accurately and completed in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Collaborate with other team members during travel assignments to safely and efficiently complete AOG tasks. Essential Skills Minimum of 4+ years of experience performing avionics troubleshooting and modifications on Learjet aircraft, specifically Lear 60, Lear 35, and Lear 55. Hands-on experience with Proline 21 systems with Collins FMS, highly preferred. Experience with Proline 4 systems with Universal FMS. Strong avionics troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose complex electrical and system issues. Proficiency in avionics installation, including wiring and harness work. In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, autopilot, and flight guidance systems. Ability to interpret and work from manufacturer data, FAA regulations, and company-approved maintenance manuals. Must provide and use own tools suitable for avionics maintenance work. Valid U.S. passport to support travel to domestic and international locations, including Mexico and parts of South America. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on Learjet 60, Learjet 55, and Learjet 35 platforms in an operational or maintenance environment. Familiarity with Collins FMS and Universal FMS configurations and integration. Comfort working independently or with a small team during AOG assignments. Ability to adapt to rotating schedules and varying work locations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance and safety standards. Work Environment The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule within an 8-days-on/6-days-off rotation, providing extended periods of work balanced with regular time off. Work is performed on the hangar floor and at various remote locations during AOG assignments, requiring travel alone or with one other team member. You will travel to major supported locations, including destinations in Mexico and parts of South America, using a valid U.S. passport for international trips. The environment is hands-on and technical, centered around avionics systems on Learjet aircraft, with an expectation that you bring and use your own professional tools. Work conditions involve active maintenance settings with aircraft systems, requiring adherence to safety procedures and readiness to operate in both local and field environments. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Titusville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $104000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
