Manager of Critical Care Outcomes

Overview We are searching for the best talent for Manager of Critical Care Outcomes. This field‑based role is responsible for identifying best practices, building strategies, and partnering with the commercial field and customers to improve critical care outcomes for patients in stroke, heart failure and atrial fibrillation (AFib). The Manager reports to the Associate Director of Critical Care Education and works across the United States. Responsibilities Identify Salesforce trends and educational opportunities for external and internal teams. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify best practices, develop strategies, and implement them into field activities to improve patient outcomes and reduce preventable adverse events. Educate and train the commercial field on effective use of Salesforce, ensuring accurate documentation, data integrity, and ability to drive outcome‑focused conversations. Compile best practices, pathways, and care delivery models that align with patient identification and improved outcomes. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on outcome improvement and the implementation of best practices in critical care departments. Partner with key customers to assist in implementation of best practices and CGS protocols designed to improve outcomes, including early recognition of patients in cardiogenic shock and prevention of adverse events. Collaborate with the Medical Office, Professional Education, and marketing teams to align on strategy and implement the leader’s intent in critical care departments. Align with other commercial and training team members globally to develop and implement critical‑care training and reduce variability. Develop relationships with Critical Care Departments and societies to lead partnerships in educational initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Registered Nurse. Minimum of 6 years of work experience, including 5 years in Cardiac Critical Care. Demonstrated leadership experience. Ability to plan and execute large‑scale educational events (within Abiomed preferred). Ability to build a strategic plan based on data insights (within Abiomed preferred). Proficient in MS Office and Tableau. Experience navigating Salesforce and entering cases. Strong computer and organizational skills. 75% travel required. Preferred: Master’s degree. Experience designing and implementing hospital‑setting programs. Benefits Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.
