Job Summary The Onsite Quality Inspectoris responsible for performing quality assurance and quality control inspections on manufactured products prior to delivery to project sites. This role serves as the final line of quality verification, ensuring compliance with company standards, vendor quality requirements, and customer specifications. The position will also compile and report quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with the Quality Manager and manufacturing teams. This role is in Conesville, OH . Key Responsibilities: Quality Control Oversight: Supervise day to day quality control activities in the following areas: assembly, shipping/receiving, vendor finished goods, ensure proper execution of in-process and final inspections Customer & Site Issue Resolutions: Serve as a point of contact ( POC ) for issues noted by customers . Monitor infeed customer feedback daily to help provide rapid response to needs on installations sites. procure materials, coordinate vendor needs with in-house teams, coordinate shipping, partner with Project Managers if installation is required, elevate issues or trends to the QAQC Program Manager Inspection & Calibration Management: Manage inspections within applicable jurisdictions, e stablish criteria and perform calibrations on measurement tools, e nsure proper execution of in-process and final inspections, i nput all inspections into internal and bridged systems, perform inspections in rotation to support operations teams Non-conformance & Corrective Actions: Investigate non-conformances in collaboration with the QAQC team, s upport implementation of corrective actions to enhance product quality, e stablish inspection criteria for calibrated tool inspections, p erform calibrations on tools Documentation & Standards: Assist in generating and maintaining documentation aligned with ISO 9001 standards, d efine quality standards and ensure document control Team & Communication Support: Support production teams in meeting quality targets, c ommunicate effectively with internal teams and external customers Partner closely with Project Manager and QAQC Program Manager, feedback and great communication Cross network alignment a critical component, building relationships with other onsite teams to keep project aligned and moving forward Final Approval: Serve as the last checkpoint for quality before products are released for delivery to site Qualifications and Requirements: 3+ years in QA/QC inspection or manufacturing quality roles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in quality reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills for remote collaboration. Ability to be on your feet and mobile for a large portion of the day. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with ERP/QMS systems. Familiarity with Mechanical and Electrical Systems Certification in quality auditing or inspection (e.g., ASQ CQI).
