Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is hiring a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Houston, Texas. Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures. Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations. Maintain good customer relations; communicate professionally with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, and families. Provide instruction to patients and caretakers on therapy methods and objectives. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly. Qualifications Credentialed Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC. CPR certification required. Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
