You will accurately assess patients' needs and utilize multiple data sources to determine actual and potential health problems. The role includes utilizing a recovery-oriented framework to identify patient strengths. You will perform point-of-care testing and communicate findings effectively to members of the healthcare team. Documentation must reflect the patient's response to interventions, demonstrating an understanding of treatment plans. You will identify patient behaviors contributing to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques. Planning nursing interventions for assigned patients is critical. You will modify and individualize the nursing plan of care and protocols as needed. Participating in the development of a multidisciplinary treatment plan is essential. Demonstrating the ability to prioritize patient care needs is required. You will partner with patients and families to support recovery goals. Providing and implementing nursing care interventions is a key responsibility. Establishing a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients is important. You will demonstrate safe, accurate, and timely medication administration. Reviewing physician orders in a timely manner is necessary. Promoting interventions that provide the least-restrictive alternatives and recovery-oriented goals is vital. You will participate in leading patient groups and accurately evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions. Documentation on the nursing plan of care must reflect response to interventions and understanding of treatment responses. You will communicate patients' clinical status effectively during team rounds and shift reports. Utilizing evidence-based nursing knowledge to guide practice decisions is a priority. Providing a leadership role in organizing and delivering patient care is expected. You will provide direction and supervision of team members and delegate care interventions. Assuming a leadership role in medical and psychiatric emergencies is crucial. You will promote and provide for critical incident debriefing following emergency events.
