Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cardiac Device Clinician role based in Belleville, NJ with travel to other satellite office in New Jersey. The Cardiac Device Clinician will manage patients with implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), including in-person and remote interrogations, programming, and routine follow-up assessments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing device data and alerts, documenting findings in the electronic health record, coordinating care with cardiologists, and communicating device-related information to patients in a clear and supportive manner. The role also involves troubleshooting device issues, assisting physicians during clinic visits and device-related procedures, and ensuring adherence to relevant clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. The clinician will collaborate with the broader care team to optimize patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and participate in quality improvement initiatives related to device management. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in cardiac device management, including pacemaker and ICD interrogation, programming, and follow-up care. Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to interpret device reports, rhythm strips, and relevant diagnostic data. Proficiency with electronic health records and device management software; comfort working with digital and remote monitoring platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients, collaborate with cardiologists, and coordinate care with clinical staff. Ability to work efficiently in an on-site outpatient cardiology setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation. Relevant clinical licensure or certification ( cardiac device certification) as required by state and organizational standards. Previous experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or a related cardiac specialty strongly preferred.
