Overnight Bakery Packaging Associate (3rd Shift)
Join Our Growing Bakery Team
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our overnight production team as a 3rd Shift Bakery Packaging Associate. In this role, you will help ensure that freshly baked products are accurately packaged, labeled, inspected, and prepared for distribution. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in delivering quality products to customers.
Position: Bakery Packaging Associate Level 1
Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Package, stack, and box bakery products according to company standards and production schedules.
Apply and verify product labels, date codes, and packaging materials for accuracy.
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer expectations.
Monitor packaging materials and inventory levels to support efficient production flow.
Prepare finished products for storage, shipment, or distribution.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Clean and sanitize packaging equipment and workstations at the end of production runs.
Follow all company safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food handling guidelines.
Communicate any quality, safety, or equipment concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule.
Strong attendance record and commitment to punctuality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and stack boxes as required.
Previous experience in food production, packaging, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or overnight stocking is preferred but not required.
