Adjunct Instructor, Persuasive Writing

Position Overview The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 535: Persuasive Writing . This course is designed to teach students to master the fundamentals of proper PR and advertising writing styles with sensitivity to the requirements of different situations, audiences, and mediums. Responsibilities Edit and proofread any material so it is publishable. Craft persuasive messages for any medium that meet the client’s objectives. Devise digital ad copy for a variety of mediums, including print, online, TV, radio, and OOH, based on sound advertising strategy. Qualifications B.A., B.S., M.S., or M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience desirable. Outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials for some courses. Compensation The hourly range for this position is $37.88 – $46.96.
