Purchasing Specialist

Buyer/PurchasingJob Title: Buyer/PurchasingEssential Skills5–10 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or buyer experience in a manufacturing-related environment, with a focus on managing complex commodities and supplier relationships.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and 2–3 years of related experience.Demonstrated experience in purchasing and procurement, including quoting, negotiating, placing orders, expediting, and resolving quality and delivery issues.Strong experience in manufacturing quality or experience in automotive, agricultural, vehicle, or similar manufacturing environments.Ability to work with supply chain and purchasing software systems for ordering, tracking, and managing procurement activities.Capability to read and comprehend blueprints and technical drawings to ensure purchased components meet required specifications.Strong negotiation skills, with experience handling pricing, terms, and delivery discussions with suppliers.Work EnvironmentThis role is based entirely on-site at a manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE, with no remote work option. The typical schedule is approximately 45 hours per week, working Monday through Friday from about 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility to adjust hours or work occasional Saturdays as needed to balance time off and workload.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lincoln, NE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
