Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Days, 7 AM to 7 PM

Assignment Details

Minimum of 3 years of experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Active Registered Nurse License in New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Assess patients upon admission through effective interviewing techniques.
• Obtain and document past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of patient care plans under physician direction.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Interact positively with patients and healthcare team members, respecting patient's culture, lifestyle, religion, and age during care planning and implementation.
