The firm operates with lean, high-performance teams emphasizing rigorous analytics, intellectual curiosity, and thoughtful risk-taking.DESRI is seeking talented Associates or Associate Directors to join both its Investment & Acquisitions and Strategy teams. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience.Investment & Acquisitions Team: In this role, you will build and review financial models to support management investment decisions, with a focus on modeling project returns, optimizing capital structure, identifying risks and potential upside, and presenting analytical findings clearly. You will lead due diligence processes and manage third-party deliverables through deal timelines, and support transaction leads on negotiating definitive documentation for debt and tax equity financings, acquisitions, and opportunistic sales across DESRI's portfolio of projects in development, under construction, or in operation.Strategy Team: In this role, you will support the development of DESRI's market strategy and new project origination decisions by conducting power market research and tracking industry trends. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive analyses of electricity market fundamentals across U.S. regions to identify attractive markets for renewable energy and energy storage, researching renewable energy demand opportunities with corporations and utilities, and conducting competitive benchmarking. This role directly informs DESRI's M&A and financial underwriting processes.Qualifications: Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree and have at least two years of experience for the Associate level, with strong financial modeling capabilities. Experience in infrastructure investment, power markets, project finance, or investment banking is valued.
