Job Description
Title: ED RN - Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Must live 75 miles away from facility for travel positions; locals may apply.
- Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department, with pediatric experience.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required.
- Active nursing license verification required.
- Drivers licenses matching demographics required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Manage acute and critical patient populations, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Administer medications and manage drips as per protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Compliance / Notes:
- Charge capability preferred.
- Floating required between units.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- Orientation and additional compliance requirements may apply.
