RN - Labor & Delivery Nurse (PRN)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis. This role involves utilizing clinical judgment to perform thorough assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, and develop individualized nursing care plans that promote positive outcomes.
Education: A valid RN license and relevant nursing education are required to provide safe and effective care in a maternity setting.
Experience: Prior experience in labor and delivery nursing is preferred, with a strong foundation in clinical reasoning and patient advocacy.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and compassionate care. Responsibilities include managing physical and emotional pain, fostering therapeutic relationships, and respecting diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care plans and participate in ongoing professional development and shared governance.
Additional duties include facilitating patient and family education, documenting care accurately and timely, and supporting the growth of colleagues through mentoring and precepting.
