Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Alliance, NE 69301

Start Date: August 18, 2026

Location: Alliance, Nebraska

Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts including days (6:45am-7:15pm), nights (6:45pm-7:15am), and occasional mid-shifts (12:00pm-12:30am). Every third weekend required. 40 guaranteed hours per week. 88-day assignment through November 14, 2026.

Highlights:

• Modern emergency department built in 2016 with 5 patient rooms, 2 trauma bays, 1 triage room, and 1 OB/GYN exam room
• Approximately 5,000 annual visits with diverse patient population from pediatric to geriatric
• Critical Access Hospital setting with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, chest pain, trauma from motor vehicle accidents, falls, and farm-related injuries
• Comprehensive orientation program including three days of classroom training and one preceptor shift
• Opportunity to work in a close-knit team environment with varied case presentations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be issued through American Heart Association)
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital preferred
• Blood draw experience preferred for trauma situations
• Clean professional license with no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare services not available in this area)
