Summary We are seeking to add a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our property management team in North Platte, NE. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting prospective residents, showcasing available units, and ensuring a smooth leasing process between multiple properties. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Job Duties Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone Focuses on leasing, resident retention, and 100% occupancy Collects rent from tenants, issues 7-day notices, and coordinates move-ins and move-outs Uses marketing and social media tools to build business Maintains a professional attitude and appearance at all times Maintains the phone systems by taking all calls within three rings. Responds to customers’ needs and informs maintenance or management of any tenant issues/repairs, while providing updates to the customer. Inspect units to make sure they are market ready Show apartments to prospects and tailor product knowledge according to the customers’ needs and by using suggestive selling Have prospects complete application and secure deposit in compliance with the Fair Housing Act Submit paperwork to Property Manager for approval and update prospects on the progress of their application Takes calls and messages for the Property Manager when directed Assists the Property Manager with filing needs Ensures office environment is clean and safe from workplace hazards Skills Strong customer service and sales skills Flexibility with scheduling Goal-oriented Relationship building skills Excellent communication skills Outgoing personality Problem solving skills Time management skills and efficiency Teamwork skills Positive attitude Honest, dependable, punctual, and respectful Able to follow policies and procedures Qualifications Experience with leasing and/or showing apartments strongly preferred 1+ years of experience in customer service is required 1+ years of experience in sales is preferred Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8-hour shift Day shift Tuesday to Saturday Evenings at needed (Resident events) #J-18808-Ljbffr
