Job Summary:
The registered nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care is based in Reno, Nevada, at a medical center designated for critical care. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a 8-bed Medical ICU. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day. The role includes working day shifts, with schedule flexibility based on departmental needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts during daytime hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nevada Registered Nurse license required prior to start; minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU experience; travel experience preferred; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs, up to the workers competency level
• Additional Information: Travel nurses may be asked to work major holidays, including 2 of the 3 major holidays, with shifts possibly including weekends, holidays, and call shifts. Renown has the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice due to low census per 13-week contract.
