Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2 years of experience and scrubbing capability for EP/Cath Lab procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab unit with 2 cath labs and 1 EP lab
• Team includes RNs, RCIS, RT, CVT, department assistant, clinical nurse coordinator, and manager
• 1:1 patient ratios with 3 staff per room (4 for VT Ablation cases)
• Uses GE and ESI equipment
• Documentation via Meditech and MacLab
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements include (4) 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
• EKG training required
• 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able and willing to scrub procedures
• Prior scrubbing experience in Electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting required for CV/EP techs
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Two professional references required for FL candidates
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Performs procedures including pacemakers (all types), ablations (all types), Watchman, and cryoablation
• Scrubs provided by facility via Scrub Ex
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, with no exceptions for local candidates
