Employment Type Part-time Requirements Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Entry-level candidates welcome—experience as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant is a plus Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient care Strong organizational skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Job Description Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including Class I–IV fillings, temporary crowns, coronal polishing, sealants, intra-oral scanning, and denture, partial, and implant procedures Set up and break down operatories before and after treatment Take digital radiographs using Dexis and Planmeca software Manage infection control: prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and provide oral care instructions to patients Utilize Dentrix software and Trios scanner (willing to train) Occasionally assist the hygienist as needed to ensure smooth patient flow Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Jobley Bonus: $45 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Monday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Friday – Sunday: Closed (occasional Fridays as needed) About the Practice Name: Broadway Family and Cosmetic Dentistry Location: 556 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508
