LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well established law firm to recruit an experienced IP docketing specialist. This full time role is ideal for someone with strong intellectual property docketing experience and a deep understanding of USPTO rules, deadlines, and filing procedures. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and able to manage a large volume of time sensitive IP matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, enter, and maintain accurate docket entries for patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property matters
• Monitor all USPTO deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses
• Process correspondence from the USPTO, foreign associates, and internal attorneys
• Prepare docket reports and follow up on upcoming deadlines and outstanding items
• Assist attorneys and staff with questions related to docketing status and rules
• Upload, organize, and maintain documents within the firm???s IP management system
• Coordinate with outside counsel and international agents regarding filings and deadlines
• Ensure all docketing is compliant with firm procedures and client requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in IP docketing in a law firm or corporate legal department is required
• Strong knowledge of USPTO rules, timelines, and filing requirements
• Experience with IP docketing software such as CPI, Foundation IP, Anaqua, or similar systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining accurate records

Benefits:

Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
