Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements: SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients. Knowledge of milieu management. Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties. Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side-effects. Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor degree in nursing. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Driver’s License or State issued Id. Current State of Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Current CPR certification. EXPERIENCE: One year of inpatient medical or LTAC preferred.
