Shift Details: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours.
Job Order Details: Start date 06/05/2026, end date 09/04/2026, duration 13 weeks.
Unit Information: Acute Care, located at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, 125 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777, on the 2nd floor of the main hospital.
General Information: Number of beds 25 inpatient, can take up to 27 total with the addition of ED holds. Number of staff: Day shift charge + 4-5 RNs & 2-3 PCTs/HUC (House Sup on Sat/Sun), night shift charge + 4-5 RNs & 2-3 PCTS (House Sup every night). Patient ratios: Type of equipment BiPAP, Vapotherm, Lifts, Baxter Pumps, Telemetry/Continuous O2 EMR - Cerner.
Typical hiring profile: Skill set most recruited for: Must have telemetry experience. Preferred or nice to have: ICU experience. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Wound Care. Best personality fit: Team oriented, good communication.
Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS & ALS. Floating area(s): ED. Dress code: Scrub color/attire - Navy Blue. Unit guidelines/policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Please see attached attendance policy. Weekends and on call(if any): Rotating weekends & flexibility with scheduling.
