As a Cath Lab Technician at HCA Florida JFK Hospital, you will deliver advanced cardiac care in a state‑of‑the‑art lab and support patients throughout lifesaving procedures. Responsibilities Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements. Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures. Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment. Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care. Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Must hold one of the following: (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, (RRT) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Must hold one of the following: (ARRT‑R) Radiography or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, and obtain the certification within 2 years of employment start date. Vocational School Graduate, or High School Graduate / GED. 1 year of experience required.
