P&G Dayton Fulfillment Center Technician

The P&G Dayton Fulfillment Center is looking for a Fulfillment Center Technician. This role requires working in a warehousing environment, occasionally lifting boxes that weigh up to 50lbs. This role requires at least two years of experience in leadership or training. Leadership experience does not need to be in warehouse or manufacturing. This role is physically demanding, and requires you to work on your feet during your shift. You will need to lead a line of 7-10 temporary associates and work in a high stress atmosphere.

The site operates continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Technicians are usually scheduled to work Monday – Friday. They may be scheduled to work any day of the week, including weekends or holidays when necessary. Technicians are traditionally expected to work 8.5 hours per day. We have two shift options; shifts are assigned depending on business need. We cannot guarantee your preference of shift is what you will be assigned. Shifts currently available:

• Second shift 2:00pm-11:00pm

Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the site to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. The hours of work can vary from 8 to 12 hours daily. Technicians are expected to be willing to rotate to any shift. Technicians may work rotating shifts. Technicians need to be on time and ready to work each day. Overtime may be required on weekends and/or holidays.

As a Fulfillment Center Technician at P&G, you will be responsible for leading a production line with a keen eye for detail. With on-the-job training, you will learn and familiarize yourself with core warehousing technologies and systems. Leading a production line is a critical role at P&G because you are responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity needed to meet the needs of our customers and consumers. Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience problem solving with large equipment
• Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing safety behaviors
• The ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to bend and stoop, climb, stand and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms, and twist, turn and bend
• Willingness to working in a fast paced environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity and loud equipment
• P&G provides on-site training
