Collections Specialist

Overview


GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Accurately enters and distributes third-party payments across all revenue-generating health facilities, ensuring proper account allocation. Processes daily accounts receivable transactions, including verification, allocation, data entry, and posting. Conducts routine data validation to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements for this job are close vision, distant vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
