Job Overview A law firm seeks a Junior Tax Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate, M&A, and international tax matters at a law firm. Current judicial clerks are encouraged to apply. Duties Assist in planning, controversy, and transactional tax work. Engage with clients across various industries, including Fortune 500 companies and startups. Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex tax issues. Participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities. Requirements Superior academic credentials and intellectual rigor. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Barred in the state of Washington, D.C., or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in Washington, D.C., or eligibility to obtain. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
