CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety at a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with expertise. Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using effective communication techniques like AIDET. Administer contrast, position patients correctly, and review images for diagnostic quality, making adjustments as needed. Document procedures accurately, ensure proper image finalization in RIS/PACS, and manage patient data responsibly. Respond to emergencies, monitor patient conditions, and support safety protocols. Support operational efficiency by organizing workflows, maintaining supplies, and adhering to regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
