Our core values of integrity, straight-forwardness, relationship building, and teamwork guide us in our mission to create vibrant, engaging, and inspiring communities for over sixty years.Primary Responsibilities:Your meticulous attention to detail, enthusiasm for troubleshooting, and talent for resolving issues make you an ideal match for this position.As a Maintenance Technician your primary responsibilities are:Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenanceResolving maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairPreparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvementsPreserving the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenanceProviding residents with outstanding customer serviceWorking weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergenciesWhat You Bring to Us:Experience in building maintenance or an education in the tradesBeginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairAn HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotationThe ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantlyPersonal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergenciesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalA sharp professional appearanceBasic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programsA service mentality and a thirst for learningWhat We Bring to You:We recognize that the talent within our teams is central to our business, and we are dedicated to ensuring they are well-cared for so they can deliver exceptional experiences to our residents. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Klingbeil Capital Management's total compensation package for employees.
