Insurance Account Executive - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

New to insurance? Daryl Watson State Farm in Halethorpe, MD will get you licensed, selling, and servicing. We provide paid training, licensing support, and hands-on coaching across both sales and service, so you can build a complete insurance skill set while you earn. Candidates who are fluent or proficient in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Quote, write, and service multi-line insurance policies as you build a complete insurance skill set
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Serve Spanish- and English-speaking customers clearly and accurately
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and customer records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly sales and service goals
• Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews
• Develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups
• Handle policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes accurately

Qualifications

• Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided
• Fluent or proficient in Spanish and English, preferred
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
• Comfortable balancing sales goals with day-to-day customer service
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Pay range: $45,000-$60,000 per year

This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met. Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range.
