3D AutoCAD Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented 3D AutoCAD Drafter to support the design and engineering team in developing detailed drawings and models for custom-engineered industrial equipment and compressed air systems. The primary responsibility will be creating accurate 3D models and 2D drawings used for equipment layouts, piping configurations, and fabrication. The ideal candidate will also assist with additional engineering and project documentation as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed 3D models and 2D AutoCAD drawings for custom-engineered equipment, piping systems, and industrial packages.
• Develop equipment layouts, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings based on engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication personnel to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, clearances, and completeness.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes, customer specifications, and project feedback.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining technical documentation, drawing packages, bills of materials, and project records.
• Support other documentation and administrative requirements related to engineering projects as needed.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure revisions are properly documented.

Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D AutoCAD drafting and modeling required.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications.
• Experience with industrial equipment, mechanical systems, piping, or fabrication drawings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams while managing multiple project priorities.
