Position Overview Vice President, Client Services The Vice President, Client Services is responsible for leading a portfolio of strategic client accounts, ensuring exceptional client partnerships, driving organic growth, and developing high-performing account teams. As a senior leader within the organization, this individual serves as a trusted advisor to clients, provides strategic direction across programs, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding business results. Key Responsibilities Client Leadership Serve as executive lead for key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts Build and maintain senior-level client relationships Provide strategic counsel across medical education and scientific communications programs Drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth Business Growth Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities across existing accounts Support new business development, proposals, and pitch activities Develop strategic account plans that align client needs with agency capabilities Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop account management teams Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture Support talent development, succession planning, and resource allocation Financial & Operational Management Oversee account profitability, forecasting, and budget management Ensure delivery excellence across all client programs Establish and maintain best practices across the client services function Industry Leadership Maintain knowledge of industry trends, therapeutic landscapes, and client priorities Represent the agency at industry events and networking opportunities Contribute to the evolution of agency capabilities and service offerings Qualifications 10+ years of experience within a medical communications, medical education, or healthcare agency environment Demonstrated success leading strategic pharmaceutical or biotech client relationships Experience managing and developing high-performing teams Strong business development, financial management, and operational leadership skills Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities Success Measures Client retention and satisfaction Organic account growth Portfolio revenue and profitability Team development and engagement New business contribution Operational excellence and delivery quality #J-18808-Ljbffr EPM Scientific
