Job Title: Restaurant Manager (Sonny’s BBQ) – Oviedo, FL Location: Oviedo, FL 32765 Position Type: Full‑time, salaried, on‑site Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (base + commission/month) About the Brand: iServ / Sonny’s BBQ is a fast‑casual dining restaurant that values people‑first culture, growth, and leadership development. What You’ll Do Bring hands–on energy, heart, and focus to both front and back of house operations. Lead and develop a team of 25–40 hourly employees, including training, scheduling, and coaching. Manage P&L by controlling food and labor costs, minimizing waste, and improving retention and guest satisfaction. Ensure smooth, consistent operation of front and back of house in accordance with brand standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed, and guest experience. Communicate clearly with above‑store management, team members, and guests, handling feedback and maintaining a positive, professional workplace. Partner with General Manager and above‑store leadership on performance reviews, promotions, and internal growth opportunities. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of full‑service restaurant management experience (front and back of house) in a high‑volume setting. Comfortable in a fast‑moving environment that balances hustle with structure and accountability. Proven coaching, conflict resolution, and culture‑building skills that reduce turnover. Strong communication skills for sharing information with both management and hourly team members. Basic math proficiency, ability to read schedules, and use of simple systems (POS, email, reporting). Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; on‑site leadership required. Valid driver’s license with successful driver insurability check and reliable transportation. Must pass a background check. Desired Qualifications Prior BBQ or meat‑focused restaurant experience. Experience training or mentoring managers in training or high‑potential supervisors. Works with both FOH and BOH to ensure all shifts run smoothly and guests receive top service. Ensures appropriate staffing levels while following budget guidelines. Communicates and upholds the ISERV GROUP’s mission, values, policies, and procedures. Prepares monthly financial objectives by analyzing forecasts, trends, and variances. Hires, trains, and develops hourly team members while fostering appreciation and comfort. Maintains specifications and company standards for all dishes and drinks. Ensures required licenses, posters, documentation, and safety equipment are current. Maintains safe and organized work areas; performs bi‑weekly inventory and communicates with vendors for food orders.
